Anamika is a Bollywood film starring Dino Morea, Minissha Lamba and Koena Mitra in the lead roles. It is written and directed by Anant Mahadevan and produced by Bhanwar Lal Sharma. The film is completely unrelated to the 1973 hit Anamika (film) starring Jaya Bhaduri in the title role. Instead, it is a remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s first American film Rebecca (film) (1940). This is a thriller and drama movie .
Anamika is the most intriguing romantic mystery of our time. Anamika begins when Vikram Aditya Sisodia who owns Gajner Palace in Rajasthan comes down to Mumbai for an international convention with a proposal to convert his palace into a resort.

Vikram Aditya Singh Shishodiya(Dino Morea) belongs to a rich Rajpoot family.He goes to Mumbai to attend a conference where he is escorted by Jia Rao(Minissha Lamba).She is not good at escorting.Vikram proposes to her and they get married.Vikram takes her to his palace named Gazneer.Their palace was being taken care by miss Malini who is crazy about Vikram.This is the second marriage of Vikram.His first wife Anamika(Aarti Chhabria) was murdered by Malini in a sand storm,when she left the palace due to some misunderstanding created by Malini between them.

Malini took advantage of this situation and followed her in the sand storm and killed her there.Once the couple goes outside,suddenly a sand storm arrives and both of them discover the skeleton of Anamika.Vikram’s brother in law Sekhar Rajpoot(Gulshan Grover) investigates the case and finds that Anamika’s death was not an accident rather murdered by Malini in that sand storm.Malini tries to kill Jia and to name this as a suicide.But meanwhile Vikram reaches and saves Jia from that fire. Malini commits suicide in that fire showing her craziness towards Vikram.Vikram is found innocent and they live happily everafter at Gazneer.
